Our Therapists
Gail Gogliotti, LCPC, BC-DMT
Owner & Therapist
I am a clinical counselor and dance/movement therapist, and that means I use both talking and movement to help my clients explore ways to find balance and achieve positive change. I frequently work with adults and couples to help improve communication patterns, process grief and loss, integrate trauma, and find stability during all of life’s ups and downs. My goal is to help you find balance and live a life that you create, want and deserve. I use verbal and non-verbal cues from my clients to help them understand how they process their experiences and interact with the world. My background in dance/movement therapy promotes a creative environment to explore and process on cognitive, physical and emotional levels. I specialize in working with anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with military veterans and their families, and am a volunteer provider through Give an Hour (https://giveanhour.org/). About Dance/Movement Therapy Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) is a creative arts-based form of psychotherapy that incorporates movement, creative process, and verbal expression. The integration of body and mind is the foundation of DMT, which aims to further self-expression, healing, and personal growth. photo: Todd Rosenberg

Hi, there! My name is Maria (she/her).
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Instructor. I utilize a holistic approach to help adults 18 and over navigate significant life transitions and day-to-day happenings. I specialize in working with anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with individuals that are navigating grief and loss, as well as with first generation immigrants. I am passionate about incorporating movement and meditation into sessions, recognizing the body as a source of healing, strength, and growth. My overall intention is to create a space that cultivates comfort and safety, allowing us to better understand and work through presenting concerns and changes.
I enjoy working with individuals that are open to and interested in a creative and free-flowy approach to therapy, including meditation, movement, journaling, and visualization. I also enjoy working with individuals that are interested in incorporating spirituality and religion into their sessions.
Outside of work/More about me:
I have an affinity for the outdoors, spending most of my free time running, biking, and going on walks with my dog Elsa. I also enjoy challenging myself with a jigsaw puzzle, expanding my yoga practice, and exploring different bakeries and coffee shops around the city. More than anything else, however, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, family, and the Back on My Feet volunteer group.
