Our Therapists

Gail Gogliotti, LCPC, BC-DMT

Owner & Therapist

I am a clinical counselor and dance/movement therapist, and that means I use both talking and movement to help my clients explore ways to find balance and achieve positive change. I frequently work with adults and couples to help improve communication patterns, process grief and loss, integrate trauma, and find stability during all of life’s ups and downs. My goal is to help you find balance and live a life that you create, want and deserve.

I use verbal and non-verbal cues from my clients to help them understand how they process their experiences and interact with the world. My background in dance/movement therapy promotes a creative environment to explore and process on cognitive, physical and emotional levels. I specialize in working with anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with military veterans and their families, and am a volunteer provider through Give an Hour (https://giveanhour.org/).

About Dance/Movement Therapy Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) is a creative arts-based form of psychotherapy that incorporates movement, creative process, and verbal expression. The integration of body and mind is the foundation of DMT, which aims to further self-expression, healing, and personal growth.

Maria Duda, LCSW and 200-RYT

Therapist

Hi, there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Instructor. I utilize a holistic approach to help adults 18 and over navigate significant life transitions, interpersonal matters, vocational stressors, and day-to-day challenges. My intention is to create a safe and comfortable space, utilizing compassion, curiosity, and creativity to help clients better understand and work through presenting struggles and concerns.

I specialize in working with anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I have an interest in working with individuals who are dealing with grief and loss, understanding first-hand that these experiences can be incredibly isolating and confusing. I also have an interest in working with the immigrant community. As a first-generation immigrant, I recognize the unique set of challenges and cultural adjustments that may arise and be present in today’s times.

As a holistic practitioner, I am passionate about incorporating movement and mindfulness into sessions, recognizing the body as an invaluable source of healing, strength, and growth. Through techniques such as gentle movement, journaling, meditation, visualization, and breathing techniques, I help clients connect with and learn more about themselves.

For individuals interested in incorporating spirituality and religion into their sessions, I am comfortable exploring these dimensions as part of our work together. I understand that spirituality and religion can be powerful sources of comfort, guidance, and meaning. As such, I am committed to integrating these elements in a respectful and supportive manner.
